Delivered by the Government Property Agency and powered by Cirros, GovPrint lets civil servants print in any GovPrint building with the ID card they already carry.
Figures as at August 2026

GovPrint members are separate organisations with separate tenants, users and devices. Every day, staff from 39 of the 57 member organisations print on each other's printers. A civil servant visiting another department badges in, taps release and collects their documents. No IT tickets, no guest accounts, nothing to configure.
It works in a zero trust environment: no VPN, no print servers, no network between buildings, no inbound connections and no line of sight between the laptop and the printer.
Roaming reports show each organisation which of its staff print on other members' devices, which visitors print on its own, and the balance between them.

GovPrint gives departments flexible ways to adopt secure, cloud-native pull printing, with or without replacing the devices they already have.
GovPrint Lite is the GovPrint cloud service, including the service wrap, on the devices you already have. It works with any GovPrint-connected device, including Canon, Ricoh, HP and Xerox, so departments get GovPrint's security, compliance and shared-print benefits straight away while keeping their current hardware investment.
Extend fleet lifecycles today; upgrade to GovPrint Cloud when ready.
GovPrint Lite gives service owners total lifecycle control over their printing estate. Onboard your existing multi-vendor printer fleet immediately to eliminate local print servers and cloud-enable your workflow. Sweat your existing assets for as long as needed, replacing hardware with GovPrint Cloud devices only when your refresh cycle demands it.
GovPrint Cloud is the complete service: GovPrint devices, the GovPrint cloud and the service wrap, all provided together.
| Model | Devices | GovPrint cloud | Service wrap |

The Government Property Agency and two departments have written about GovPrint, the GPA's shared print service that runs on Cirros. None of them names Cirros; these are their own accounts of the service.
