Cirros Secure, Scalable SAAS Print management Solutions
The Cirros Print Management software is designed and delivered as a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution, hosted on Microsoft Azure UK. As a SaaS model, it allows customers to access the print management platform through a web browser over a secure HTTPS connection, without the need for local infrastructure or hardware beyond end devices (e.g., printers).
Cirros is a cloud-based print management solution designed to make printing, scanning, and copying more accessible and secure for organisations.

Cirros adopts a combination of NCSC Secure by Design principles and comprehensive security architecture principles to ensure security is fully integrated into every stage of the design process. These principles include:
Zero Trust Architecture:
Following NCSC’s Zero Trust model, Cirros ensures that no user or device is trusted by default, requiring continuous verification throughout system interactions. This minimises the risk of unauthorised access and insider threats.
Principle of Least Privilege:
Cirros applies this principle to ensure that users, services, and devices are granted the minimum level of access necessary to perform their functions. This limits the attack surface and minimises potential damage from compromised accounts or devices.
Defence in Depth:
Our system design incorporates multiple layers of security controls, including network segmentation, firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and encryption to ensure that if one control fails, others will continue to protect the system.
Data Encryption:
All data, both in transit and at rest, is encrypted using AES-256 encryption, and all communications are secured via TLS 1.2/1.3 protocols. This ensures that sensitive information is protected from unauthorised access and tampering.
Continuous Security Monitoring:
Proactive monitoring tools are embedded into the system architecture, ensuring real-time detection and response to potential threats.
By following these methodologies, Cirros ensures that every component of the Cloud service is designed with security as a fundamental priority.
Secure collaboration:
Cirros facilitates secure collaboration across government departments and partner organisations.
Simplified printing management:
The cloud-based platform provides a central point for managing and controlling printing resources.
