Built for consolidation
GovPrint is device agnostic and cloud based. ICBs can join individually and come together on one platform as clustering goes ahead, adding users, sites and devices as the new organisation takes shape.
Integrated Care Boards
The Model ICB Blueprint is bringing Integrated Care Boards together into clusters, and between 2026 and 2028 many ICBs will review and consolidate their IT and print arrangements. For most, that means bringing several separate contracts, suppliers and device estates into one.
GovPrint lets you do that once, without having to design the finished organisation first.

GovPrint is a national platform used across the NHS, central government, local councils and blue light services. Staff can release their print at any shared GovPrint device, which supports joint teams, integrated care partnerships and staff who work across NHS and council sites.
There are no print servers, no drivers to manage and no network changes. Stretched digital teams can focus on the clustering programme itself.
GovPrint supports Canon, Ricoh, Xerox, Lexmark and HP devices. Existing devices can be reused, so you avoid a costly refresh just to consolidate.
Because GovPrint works across organisations, devices can be shared, returned and reused rather than duplicated.
GovPrint is already live across NHS trusts, with around 800 NHS devices joining the platform this month.
“As more departments use GovPrint and become less reliant on printing, printers can be returned and reused elsewhere across government. GovPrint is currently reusing around seven devices each month, reducing the need to buy new printers as the service grows.”
